In May of 2009, the National Association of Women Business Owners - San Francisco Bay Area Chapter held its first Procurement Summit to assist our membership in access to potential contracts. We could not have done the event without SLC. SLC evaluated our women business owners, made assessments based on the evaluations and matched the businesses with potential buyers who were looking for services. SLC helped us educate our members about the value of certification and how to better position themselves for doing business with corporations.
